VAGST Ready ("the App") is operated by Apia Chartered Accountants. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

Information you provide: your business name, tax identification number (TIN), return category, contact email, phone number, and address.

Transaction data: sales and purchase records you enter, including dates, amounts, supplier/customer names, invoice numbers, and VAGST calculations.

Receipt images: photos of receipts you upload, stored securely to support your transaction records and tax filings.

Account data: your name and email address, used for authentication and communication.

The App offers an optional integration with Gmail. If you choose to connect your Gmail account, the App requests the following permission:

Scope: Send email on your behalf (gmail.send).

How we use it:

• To send emails you explicitly request — for example, a VAGST return review request sent to your accountant at Apia Chartered Accountants.
• To compose pre-filled email drafts containing your return summary for your review before sending.

What we do not do with your Gmail data:

• We do not read, scan, or store your existing emails or attachments.
• We do not modify or delete any emails in your account.
• We do not access your contacts.
• We do not share your Gmail data with third parties.

Emails are sent only when you take an explicit action within the App. You can disconnect Gmail at any time from your Google account settings, which revokes the App's access.

We use your information to:

• Provide the bookkeeping and VAGST calculation features of the App.
• Generate printable return worksheets for filing with the Ministry for Revenue.
• Send you emails you request, including review requests to your accountant.
• Provide support and respond to your enquiries.

Your data is stored securely on the App's hosting platform. Each user's data is isolated so that you can only access your own business records. Receipt images are stored in secure file storage and linked to the relevant transactions.

We do not sell your personal or transaction data to third parties.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us using the details below.
